What we collect, and what happens to it.

This site asks for information in one place, the contact form. This page explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

This site collects information in one place only: the contact form. Nothing else on the site asks you for information, and there is no account, login or newsletter.

When you submit the form we receive your name, work email address, organization, the practice your inquiry concerns, and whatever you write in the message field. A phone number is optional and the form works without it.

Alongside the form we record how you reached us

  • The referring address your browser reports, if it reports one.
  • The page you first landed on during your visit.
  • Any campaign parameters in that address, the ones beginning utm_.

That is recorded so an inquiry enters our pipeline with its source attached. It identifies a channel, not a person. If your browser does not share a referrer, the submission still goes through.

Why we collect it

To respond to you, and to know which channels are producing inquiries. Nothing on this site is collected for advertising or profiling, and we do not build a profile of you across visits.

What happens to your submission

It is sent as an email to our inquiry inbox through Resend, our email delivery provider, and read by a principal of the firm. Your address is set as the reply address so any response comes straight back to you.

We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone outside the firm except the delivery provider that carries the message.

How long we keep it

An inquiry that does not lead to a conversation is deleted within 30 days, from the inbox and from our records. If your inquiry does become an engagement or an ongoing conversation, the details become part of our client and candidate records and are kept for as long as that relationship is active.

Our email delivery provider holds delivery data for 30 days and then discards it. If you want an inquiry deleted sooner, write to info@2148industries.com and we will.

Confidential inquiries

Inquiries often involve situations that are not public, and the form invites you to describe them. If your situation is sensitive, say so in the message and we will treat it accordingly. If you would rather not put it in writing before an agreement is in place, write briefly and ask for a call, or ask us to sign a mutual NDA first.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from this site rather than a third party.

One item is stored in your browser: the source information described above, held in session storage so it survives moving between pages during a single visit. It is cleared when you close the tab, and you can clear it at any time through your browser.

Automated protection

The contact endpoint limits how many submissions can come from one network address in a short window, and carries a hidden field that automated submitters fill in and people do not. These exist to stop spam. The rate limit holds network addresses briefly in memory and writes them nowhere.

Questions, corrections and deletion

Write to info@2148industries.com and a principal will handle it directly. If you want us to delete an inquiry you have sent, say so and we will.

If anything here is unclear, ask. Write to info@2148industries.com, or use the contact form.
