Leadership Development
Practical leadership and recruiting development built by people who led teams before they taught leadership.
Organizations promote their best individual performers and then act surprised when the skills do not transfer. Running a territory is not leading a team. Being an excellent engineer is not leading engineers. We build the capability that promotion assumes and rarely provides, in working sessions with real situations, not a slide deck and a certificate.
What you get
- New managers who can run a direct-report conversation that changes behavior
- Recruiters who advise hiring managers instead of processing their requests
- A leadership bench deep enough that succession is a choice, not a scramble
How leadership development is delivered.
Each of these can be scoped on its own or combined.
Frontline Leadership Program
For newly promoted and first-time managers. Delegation, direct feedback, performance conversations, and running a team meeting worth attending.
Recruiting Skills Development
The craft of recruiting: market mapping, passive outreach that gets answered, structured interviewing, and holding a hiring manager to a standard.
Written phases. Reported progress. No mystery.
You always know which phase the engagement is in, what is due next, and who owns it.
- 01
Assess
We establish the current baseline through manager interviews, skip-levels, and observation. Training aimed at the wrong gap is worse than no training: it burns the credibility you need for the next attempt.
- 02
Design
Curriculum built on your situations: your customers, your hiring manager conflicts, your operating pressures. Nothing generic, nothing off the shelf.
- 03
Deliver
Working sessions spaced to allow application between them. Participants bring real situations and leave with something to run on Monday.
- 04
Reinforce
Manager-of-manager coaching, peer practice groups, and field observation. Skills that are not reinforced within thirty days are gone, so this phase is where the return actually lives.
- 05
Measure
Behavior change against the week-one baseline, plus the business measures the program was built to move: team retention, ramp time, quota attainment, promotion readiness.
Asked before we begin.
No. We use a consistent underlying framework, but every case, role-play, and exercise is built from your organization: your customers, your hiring managers, your actual operating pressures. Participants can tell within ten minutes whether the material was written for them, and generic content loses the room permanently.
The reinforcement phase is not optional in our programs. Skills not applied within thirty days are gone, so we build in manager-of-manager coaching, peer practice groups, and field observation for months after delivery ends. If a client wants delivery without reinforcement, we will say so plainly: the spend will not return.
Yes, and that is often the most valuable work. Facilitated sessions with an intact leadership team surface how decisions actually get made and what goes unsaid. We facilitate directly rather than diplomatically, but the engagement needs the senior leader to genuinely want the issues on the table.
